This article describes the right way to transfer the hard drive for xbox 360 using the Drive Transfer Kit to transfer all content from one hard drive to another

You will need :

An Xbox 360 console

Two Xbox 360 hard drives

Data transfer cable (included with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit)

This could be included when you buy the Xbox 360 Hard Drive

Data transfer software program (included with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit)

The Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit transfers all content to another hard drive. Read the users guide which you get with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit.

You’ll be able to transfer all content from one Xbox 360 hard drive (this is known as the “source”) to another Xbox 360 hard drive (this is known as the “destination”). The data from the source hard drive overwrites the content on the destination hard drive.

Naturally content can only be moved to another hard drive provided that the destination hard drive is the same size or bigger than the source hard drive

When the transfer is complete, the data on the destination hard drive will be replaced with the content from the source hard drive. This content includes your saved games and Xbox LIVE downloads. After the transfer is finished, the content on the source hard disk is erased.

Movie rentals

Movies you’ve rented on the source hard drive will not be accessible after the move. Make sure that you watch all Xbox LIVE Marketplace movie rentals before you use the Hard Drive Transfer Kit.

Using the Hard Drive Transfer Kit

Warning with any transfer, there is a small risk that some or all your content could possibly be lost during the process.

Only one hard drive can be connected to your Xbox 360 console at a time. The transfer cable can’t be used to connect multiple hard drives to your console at the same time.

To transfer all content from one hard drive to another

Switch off your Xbox 360 console with your current hard drive (the “source” drive) attached.

Disconnect all accessories from the console.

Turn on the console. Connect a controller and switch it on. You have got to use a controller during the content transfer.

Connect the transfer cable to the hard drive that you are moving content to (the “destination” hard drive).

Important The transfer cable connects to the destination hard drive in only one orientation. Don’t force the connector on.

Connect the transfer cable to the destination hard drive in the direction shown below.

Plug the other end of the transfer cable into the USB port on the back of your Xbox 360 console.

Important Do not plug the transfer cable into a USB port on the front of your Xbox 360 console.

Load the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Disc (included with the transfer kit) into your Xbox 360 console. Instructions will appear on the screen

The transfer process can take more than 60 minutes, depending on the amount of content on the source hard drive.

The Xbox Dashboard is not available during the content transfer.

If the transfer is interrupted for any reason, your data will remain on the source hard drive. It is possible to restart the transfer process at any time until the transfer is finished.

To remove your Xbox 360 hard drive

1.Turn off your Xbox 360 console.

2.Locate the hard drive on the top of your console (or on the left side, depending on how your console is positioned).

3.Press the release button on the hard drive.

4.Lift the hard drive away from the console.

To attach your hard drive

1.Turn off your Xbox 360 console.

2.Position the back of the hard drive against the back of the hard drive bay.

3.Push the front end of the hard drive down until it clicks in place.

Note If your console did not previously have a hard drive, you will need to remove the hard drive bay cover before attaching a hard drive.

You will not have to pay a high-priced cable subscription or shell out for expensive satellite equipment and installation charges.

Over the past decade or so, the internet and computers have completely changed the way we live our daily lives. Researching your next term paper, finding quick medical suggestions, and reading up to date news stories are just a few ways the internet has improved our way of life. Well, now you can add live and streaming sports telecasts to that list.

It doesn’t take much searching on the internet to find a site that will let you watch all the soccer matches that your eyes can watch right at your very computer. Most of these sites have a monthly, annually, or one-time fee but these fees are usually very, very low. Especially considering how much soccer you can and will watch with these services.

It is unlikely these websites actually stream any information themselves. They are more likely to act as a gateway and give you access to links to other services which provide the actual streaming service.

Before you shell out the fees, make sure to look through the schedules that the websites offer. How many matches do they provide you with? Are your teams involved in a lot of those games? Often, you will find that you can watch most of the matches that are generally shown to satellite providers only.

After registering and signing up, you will usually be given links to all available matches. You simply pick the one you want to watch and use Windows Media Player or Real Player to stream the games. However, there are some service providers out there that instruct you to download specific software first.

The beauty of these services are that you are not going to be confined to your computer at home. From anywhere that you can access the internet you can enjoy countless hours of streaming live soccer matches.

Selecting The Right Networking Training Insights

Posted by Jason Kendall | Computers & Software | Wednesday 3 March 2010 3:16 am

In this day and age, most companies couldn’t function properly without the help of support workers fixing both computers and networks, while making recommendations to users on a day to day basis. Our requirement for larger numbers of skilled and qualified individuals multiplies, as society becomes consistently more dependent upon computers in these modern times.

Working on revolutionary new technology really is electrifying. You’re involved with defining the world to come.

Computer technology and dialogue on the internet is going to dramatically change our lifestyles over the coming years; remarkably so.

If making decent money is around the top on your goal sheet, you’ll appreciate the fact that the regular income of most men and women in IT is a lot higher than salaries in most other jobs or industries.

It seems there’s not a hint of a downturn for IT growth across Britain. The sector is continuing to expand enormously, and as we have a skills gap that means we only typically have three IT workers for every four jobs it’s not showing any signs that there’ll be any kind of easing off for decades to come.

Kick out the typical salesman who recommends a training program without performing a ‘fact-find’ to better understand your current abilities and experience level. Make sure they can draw from a generous range of products so they’re able to solve your training issues.

Of course, if you’ve got any work-experience or certification, then it’s not unreasonable to expect to start at a different point than a student who’s starting from scratch.

If you’re a student beginning IT exams and training as a new venture, it can be helpful to break yourself in gently, kicking off with some basic Microsoft package and Windows skills first. This can be built into most accreditation programs.

Be watchful that any certifications that you’re considering are recognised by industry and are up-to-date. ‘In-house’ certificates are not normally useful in gaining employment.

The main industry leaders like Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or Adobe have globally acknowledged skills programs. These big-hitters will ensure your employability.

Your training program should always include the most up to date Microsoft (or relevant organisation’s) authorised exam preparation packages.

As many IT examination boards come from the United States, you’ll need to be used to the correct phraseology. It’s no use simply understanding random questions – they need to be in the proper exam format.

Clearly, it’s essential to ensure that you’ve thoroughly prepared for your commercial exam before taking it. Rehearsing simulated tests adds to your knowledge bank and will save a lot of money on wasted exam attempts.
